Goodcircle is committed to creating a web that works for everyone, starting with our own website. We follow industry best practice and technical standards in order to make our website accessible to as many people as possible. Any known accessibility problems on our website will be noted in this statement.
This statement applies to the website at goodcircle.co.uk, run by Goodcircle Design CIC.
We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:
We are also making the website text as simple as possible to understand.
Website accessibility is measured against a technical standard called the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). The latest version of WCAG is 2.1. There are three possible levels of conformance: A (lowest), AA, and AAA (highest).
In the UK, website accessibility is protected by the Equality Act (2010) and more recently by the Public Sector Bodies Accessibility Regulations (2018). While Goodcircle is not a public sector body, we do aim to achieve the same level of conformance to WCAG.
This website is fully compliant with WCAG 2.1 at Level AA.
Some of the content on this website is harder to read than it could be, particularly for people with reading disabilities. We are rewriting the content to be as clear and simple as possible.
We are not aware of any other accessibility issues.
We are always looking to improve the accessibility of this website. If you find any problems not listed on this page or think we're not meeting accessibility requirements, please don't hesitate to contact us by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
