About Goodcircle

A tiny design agency with a big vision for helping charities and social enterprises.

As a design agency, we do all the things you’d expect. Like web design, branding and print. And website optimisation, testing and consultancy. But as a design agency for charities and social enterprises, what we actually do often means changed lives, bigger donations and spreading the good word about great work. Not to mention saving our clients’ money (something that is always best spent on furthering their cause).

For positive impact, not for profit.

You’ll find no shareholders here. Goodcircle is a regulated Community Interest Company with a commitment to working with charities and social enterprises. Each and every penny of profit comes full circle to be reinvested back into our little social enterprise – helping others change the world – one project at a time.

From animal charities in Ashford to climate change campaigners up in Canterbury, right now, we’re starting local – with good causes who we count as our neighbours. Soon we’ll move onwards, upwards and outwards – tup’ North, East and West.

Our social mission and principles

Goodcircle's mission is to provide free or affordable web and graphic design services to small charities, social enterprises, and other non-profit organisations that might not otherwise have access to design expertise.

Act with integrity

Trust is an essential part of the relationship with our clients and partners. We strive to always be honest, open, ethical, and fair.

Collaborate and share

People achieve great things when they work together. We combine our expertise with others to get the best possible result.

Design for everyone

We recognise and embrace the diversity of people. It's our responsibility to advocate for their needs by practicing inclusive design.

Learn and lead

There's always more to learn. We listen to experts, explore new ideas, and share our own expertise with others.

Be a force for good

We choose to work with positive people on positive projects. We will decline to work on a project if it doesn't reflect our values.

Stay small and nimble

Bigger is not always better. We choose agility, flexibility, and personal service over staff and buildings.

I’m Matt and I run Goodcircle. A UX/UI designer by trade, I’ve clocked up 14 years experience across a wide range of projects. From Asos to Sofology, Hornby to Harrods, my past clients are an illustrious lot. My aim with Goodcircle is to provide affordable creative and technical expertise to small charities, social enterprises, and other non-profit organisations. If you're working to make a difference in the world, perhaps I can help.

We’re small.
And that’s a huge thing.

At Goodcircle there’s no going round and around from department to department. No meetings with sales people or account managers. It’s Matt – founder, project manager, UX/UI designer – in the past for everything from high street blue-chip brands to government agencies. Then there’s our network of talented freelance creatives and digital natives – winning hearts to make the donation, shaping jump-up-and-down digital products that make people stop and stare.

Big agency experience, small freelance fees.

We bring in superstar expertise when it’s needed for a particular job, which means that you only pay for the people that work on your project. Our fixed fees are set with modest charity budgets in mind and we'll never try to sell you things that you don't need. What's more, we're too small to charge VAT so you'll benefit from an immediate 20% saving.
